Science

I’m trying to write more… which means that if you are a regular reader…. you will see new posts more often…. but I figure that, all it will amount to, is an increase in quantity…. and a decrease in quality… at least for a while…but here goes the real blog… so I was sitting in science class today when a kid…. his name is….Bart…. anyway he asked the absolute best scientific question I have heard…. ever…. the set up is that a another kid was giving a report on black holes and how they suck in light and such… so Bart prefaced himself with having a question a little off topic, but asked anyway… “if… in the future you have a space car that can fly at the speed of light….. would you be able to see the light from your headlights… or would you fly past them?”… and I thought that this is the best question, because not only is it very advanced in what it is asking, but also because he was able to put it in such simple terms that it can easily be grasped by anyone… even me…. and the class had a discussion and the teachers answer is that light travels at 670,616,629.384 miles per hour (or 299,792,458 m/s), and you would be flying at 670,616,629.384 miles per hour… the same rate… so technically you would….. but if you were going faster than the speed of light….. maybe…… just maybe….
