UFW: Better Late Than Never

Well it is eight thirty O’clock in the evening… but it is still Wednesday this side of the Pecos… I’m tired and it is looking thunderstormy in the distance… going rafting tomorrow… whatever… next week will be something spectacular thanks to an idea from my sister-in-law… it will blow your mind and revolutionize my personal UFW’s.

What the F%&* Chuck?

This is some of the elements of a project I am working on… Not at all what I’m going for in the final… but something in itself anyway… I don’t know if it is strange how hard it is to photoshop a space helmet for a bear… or suprisingly easy when you have the right approach… also the new Microsoft Bing search engine is pretty good for finding images…. well I better get back to work…

Happy July 1st UFW

Today is a beautiful July day. It will get to over a hundred degrees today, so I will be at the river. Today I have a very Happy UFW and a patriotic background of my brother Dan and the flag. I hope that everyone has a safe and happy Fourth of July weekend.

UFW IV: Striving for Perfexion

There is definitely a skill involved here that I never suspected. Everyone spends so much time looking pretty, that the natural assumption is that looking ugly is easy. That is absolutely not the case. If you don’t believe me you should give it a try some time. It also gets much harder with competition, and Cari Vander Yacht keeps raising the ugly bar each week, and that other guy keeps firing back, and I really have to put everything I have into this just to not fall behind the pack.

I think I am really getting the hang of this… although I don’t have the time to edit the background (or go somewhere special… like the moon)… I also was really inspired by this photoshoot, and have a couple new ideas for next week.

My Very First Ugly Face Wednesday

Well, you can’t expect stellar results on the first time… I had some camera issues… I’m sure I can do better next time… still not bad for a completely stolen recycled borrowed an acquired idea.  Luckily my face is predispositioned for such a hobby.

All quiet on the western front

Not much is going on in my life… I guess it is just too good. I went camping, It was sunny, but I regret not bringing a kite, Howard Prairie is like the Chicago of lakes… windy and cold.. still, I had a good time.

After camping, literally immediately after pulling into, my brother, Dan’s driveway, my truck contracted the Toyota swine flu, and can no longer reach speeds above 35 mph. Odd a true mystery to me. So now I command the roads from the overly plush seats of the Cadillac, no big deal at 10 miles to the gallon. An odd thing happened the other day; at school, a girl told me that I looked like Dennis Quaid…. odd I thought…

I kind of gave her a puzzled look… cause i don’t really see the resemblance… so then she specified more of just the eye area… still?…

I don’t get it… maybe it was just supposed to be a polite way of saying that I’m starting to look old, or getting wrinkles around my eyes… on the other hand, at times I do see some similarities between the two of us… this picture for instance really reminds me of me…

I mean, you can see that one right… I don’t have any pictures of me in that exact pose, otherwise I would totally post them… but it kinda looks like me with darker hair right?… but then again maybe this girl was the one that was really confused… maybe she meant Randy Quaid and not Dennis…

Cause, yeah, that one I could definatly see… so that is a possibility… maybe I will have to ask her if I see her around school.

Last night, while I was sleeping

So, last night while I was sleeping I was attacked by aliens. It was basically an alien hit squad, cause they were only here to kill me specifically, and no one else. I ended up using a couple tricks that I learned from Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator, these aliens were in no way as tough as the “Predator” was, but there were four of them, five if you count the one flying the ship. I started out in a mansion of a house that I have never seen before, but immediately ran out into the woods. I ended up covering myself with mud and hiding in the trees. The did end up catching me on a number of occasions, but I was able to slip away. I must have earned their respect, because when another alien hit squad was dispatched to take me out, the first group of aliens intercepted them and fought them; first in an air battle, then on the ground after the both ships were destroyed. Now that I think about it… the second hit squad could have been sent to kill the first group for their failure to kill me… anyway the end result was that the five aliens were stranded on earth. Two of them tried experimental surgery to take over animal bodies, so that they could blend in. One became a fox, and he could talk like a human. But the experiment failed, and both the aliens died. So that left only three aliens. Then I woke up.

I know, I’m weird… I am going to try to write up my dreams if they are weird enough and I remember them long enough to do so… we will see.

What is new in my life

Well my niece was born a week ago…. Little Reagan Marie Alden… she is awesome…

So now that I’m an uncle I need to be a little bit more responsible… so I have a much more respectabe/responsible car… a Cadillac… known for it’s luxury and safety….

So… yeah, I’ve had it for a while now… but I’m just getting to drive it cause the sun came out for a while… it will be awesome this summer…. so that and school… and that is my life… it is really, really boring to talk about, but I have to say that it is really fun to live it. This spring/summer is going to be the best ever… I have two weddings that are gonna be the best parties ever… and little Reago running (crawling?) around… My life is gooood, It’s the Best!
